Designation: "Siphous II"
Classification: Frontier Planet
Security Level: 2
Security Level: 2
Overview
Siphous II is an isolated, low-traffic planet located along the fringe of Imperial-mapped space. The world
possesses no significant mineral value or strategic utility, resulting in minimal settlement or oversight.
Its primary notability stems from its sole permanent resident: DR13, a Flyu researcher and inventor placed
under soft exile following a series of unsanctioned scientific endeavors deemed “conceptually hazardous” by
the Imperial Research Council. Accompanied by his human assistant, Mason, DR13 operates an independent research
facility unofficially registered as 'Madd Science Inc'.
Planetary Data
Primary Star: 1 (K-type)Moons: 1 minor asteroid satellite
Rings: Single narrow band of ice and dust Rotation Period: 257 local days
Climate: Temperate overall, frequent oceanic storms and mist-heavy coasts
Atmosphere: Breathable, mild particulate interference
Topography: Primarily rugged terrain—dense forests, jagged cliffs, and shallow inland seas.
Known Inhabitants
Aside from indigenous flora and fauna, only two sapient inhabitants are recorded:DR13 (Flyu): Former Imperial researcher specializing in experimental bioengineering, cybernetics, and energy modulation. Currently operating outside sanctioned parameters.
Mason (Human): Research assistant and logistical coordinator.
Imperial Status
Officially unregistered. The Empire classifies Siphous II as non-strategic territory and refrains from interference, provided DR13's activities remain contained. Attempts to reassign or recall the scientist have been quietly rescinded, presumably to avoid bureaucratic entanglement.Addendum
Long-range telemetry has detected intermittent energy signatures inconsistent with known power systems, originating from beneath DR13's estate. Imperial analysts theorize prototype reactor testing or dimensional research, though no verification has been attempted. Internal memos from the Science Council refer to Siphous II as “an unmonitored hazard with a low probability of resolving itself peacefully.”Addendum 2
A number of incidents have been recorded of various droids and devices appearing in commercial circulation unbenownst to the primary manufactures and shipment offices. The objects are usually a modifed versin of an existing product but with significant alterations to their function or design and a stamp of authenticity from 'Madd Science Inc', often accompanies by an audio or holographic memo from DR13 describing the product and offering a sales pitch for investment. Items have been noted to cause local disturbances, but have been deemed mostly harmless. Anyone who comes into possession of one of these devices is advised to report it to Imperial authorities for analysis.
Security Level Key:
1 - Low Risk: Minimal threat, safe for civilian travel.
2 - Moderate Risk: Some hazards present, caution advised.
3 - High Risk: Significant dangers, restricted access.
4 - Extreme Risk: Severe threats, no unauthorized access permitted.
5 - Critical Risk: Maximum threat level, immediate evacuation required.
