Overview
Colony 404 was considered a prime candidate for large-scale settlement upon its discovery in 2454, until a years later
when the first cases of Necrophasmosis X infection were reported. The infection
spread faster than any containment effort could manage, leading to the total evacuation and subsequent
quarantine of the planet. The planet has since been redacted from official maps, surrounded by automated weapon platforms.
Unauthorized access to the planet by Flyu is strictly forbidden under any circumstances under penalty of immediate execution.
Planetary Data
Primary Star: 1 (K-type)Moons: 1
Rings: 2, composed of reflective ice and metallic dust
Rotation Period: 290 local days
Climate: Mildly temperate with alternating wet and dry seasons
Atmosphere: Breathable, slightly humid, with trace fungal particulates
Topography: Forests, rivers, fertile plains, and wide lake basins
Unique Feature: Atmospheric light scattering due to high mineral dust content gives the planet its distinctive lavender coloration
Known Inhabitants
Only one active settlement remains—a fortified outpost manned by a few dozen Flyu and human personnel. Their presence is officially unacknowledged but believed to serve research or containment purposes. All entrants are subjected to exhaustive medical screening to ensure they carry no trace of Necrophasmosis X. The surrounding wilderness is reportedly teeming with mutated fauna and plant life, though direct study is forbidden.Imperial Status
Officially Nonexistent. Colony 404 does not appear in any public Imperial registry. Its coordinates are classified, and all communications referencing it are redacted. The Empire maintains a strict interdiction zone around the planet, citing “gravitational instability” as the reason for restricted travel.Addendum
Records recovered from early colonization logs describe Necrophasmosis X as a “necrobiotic fungal contagion” capable of reanimating infected organic matter. Whether this description was exaggerated remains unclear and no verified samples exist.
Security Level Key:
1 - Low Risk: Minimal threat, safe for civilian travel.
2 - Moderate Risk: Some hazards present, caution advised.
3 - High Risk: Significant dangers, restricted access.
4 - Extreme Risk: Severe threats, no unauthorized access permitted.
5 - Critical Risk: Maximum threat level, immediate evacuation required.
