Circuira was once home to the Circurians, a technologically superior civilization renowned for their integration of biological and synthetic systems. At their height, the Circurians achieved a seamless fusion between organic life and machine intelligence, effectively extending their lifespan and expanding cognitive capacity beyond natural limits. The Flyu Empire deemed their advancements a potential existential threat and initiated a full-scale extermination campaign approximately one thousand standard years ago. The civilization was annihilated; the planet remains largely intact but lifeless.

Despite periodic expeditions by Imperial research divisions and private contractors seeking to salvage Circurian technology, no successful reverse-engineering has been achieved. Several expeditions have failed to return, leading to speculation of residual automated defense systems still in operation.
